Instructions for Step-by-step DIY Sunoko Panel Display Stand
Instructions:
  1. Gather Materials: Collect two Sunoko grate floor panels/duckboards, a coconut shell button, jute cord, small S-hooks, and a pair of scissors.
  2. Position the Panels: Place the two Sunoko panels facing each other, with their front sides aligned.
  3. Prepare the Button Attachment: Thread one end of the jute cord through one of the holes in the coconut shell button, and then thread the other end through the second hole. Pull the cord through until the button rests at the center of the cord. Tie both ends of the jute cord together securely to form a loop. The length of the cord should be just enough to wrap around and secure the wooden pallets.

  5. Now, wrap the jute cord around the front and back of the pallets, and button it up to secure the wooden pallets together firmly. Adjust the tightness of the cord as needed to ensure stability.
  6. Add Hanging Points: Using the small S-hooks, create 4-5 hanging points on the top edge of the pallets. These hooks will serve as attachment points for small accessories, such as a wooden garland, macrame pieces, or any other decorative elements you'd like to showcase.
  7. Decorate and Style With your display stand now assembled, get creative with styling!

Tools & Materials for DIY Jute hanging vase
Materials:
  • Small plastic bottle
  • Jute cord
  • Jute burlap ribbon (5.5 inches wide)
  • Scissors
  • Pothos plant (or any other suitable houseplant)

Creating Jute Hanging Vase
Step-by-step instructions for DIY Jute hanging vase
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the Hanging Loop Begin by reusing a small plastic bottle and cleaning it thoroughly. This bottle will serve as the base for your hanging vase. Take a jute cord of your desired length and securely tie it around the neck of the bottle to create a loop. This loop will allow you to hang the vase elegantly on any wall or hook. Adjust the length of the cord to your preference and knot it tightly.
  2. Wrap the Jute Ribbon Now, take the 5.5-inch wide jute ribbon and gently wrap it around the plastic bottle. Ensure that the ribbon covers the entire bottle evenly, hiding the plastic surface beneath. Use scissors to trim any excess ribbon and secure the end by tucking it under the wrapped section or using a small dab of adhesive.
  3. Add Jute Cord Embellishments: To enhance the vase's rustic appeal, wrap a thinner jute cord around the middle section of the bottle about 3 to 4 times. This additional layer adds texture and visual interest to the hanging vase.
  4. Tie a bow: Tie a simple bow with the jute cord to create a charming finishing touch. You can also experiment with different wrapping styles for a unique look.
  5. Insert Your Houseplant: It's time to introduce some greenery! Choose a vibrant Pothos plant or any other houseplant that you adore. Carefully insert the potted plant into the jute-wrapped bottle, making sure it sits securely.
  6. Hang and Admire!: With your jute hanging vase now complete, find the perfect spot to display your green masterpiece. Hang it on a wall, from a ceiling hook, or even by a window to let your plant bask in natural sunlight. The rustic charm of the jute will beautifully complement the lushness of your houseplant, creating an eye-catching decor piece.

Maintenance Tips: To keep your jute hanging vase looking fresh and your plant thriving, remember to water it according to your plant's needs. Take the plant out of the vase for watering, and ensure that any excess water drains completely before placing it back in the vase. Regularly trim and care for your plant to maintain its health and appearance.
